Content on this site is prepared by the Buy Villas in Bali Editorial Team as an organisational author. We do not publish invented individual author biographies or credentials; where content draws on outside expertise, we describe the type of source rather than fabricating a named expert.
How we research content
Articles covering legal, tax, ownership or regulatory topics are researched against authoritative Indonesian sources — national and regional government regulations, official notices from bodies such as the Land Office (BPN), and, where useful, guidance published by licensed legal and tax professionals.
Area and lifestyle content draws on published sources, local knowledge shared by professionals we work with, and site visits or documented research where available. We do not present opinion or marketing material as verified fact.
Review dates and updates
Legal, tax and regulatory claims carry a 'last reviewed' date so you can judge how current the information is. Indonesian regulation in this space changes, and a claim that was accurate on its review date may no longer be current — always confirm time-sensitive details with a licensed professional before acting.
We periodically re-review published guides and update the review date when we confirm a claim is still accurate, or update the content when it has changed.
What we will not publish without verification
We do not publish specific prices, rental yields, occupancy rates, or claims about the current availability of a property unless the figure comes from a verified, dated source that we can stand behind. Where our tools let a user model such figures — for example the ROI calculator — the output is clearly framed as a user-entered scenario, not a market fact or forecast.
Independence from referral partners
